Following the presentation, I held a focus group for my marketing plan and products and I came back with the following responses:
From looking at my feedback, if I was to do the unit again I would definitely produce more examples of merchandise and look at displaying T-Shirts, jumpers, mugs, etc. Whilst presenting the merchandise, I would also show a specially create online shop for the merchandise rather than just displaying a sample and stand in front of a focus group, explaining other materials.
It appears the focus group like the consistency in terms of house style throughout the range of "Dead Air" products, something that I was keen to keep to throughout production. Unfortunately, due to the original logo being created in Final Cut, I was unable to transfer it to any other product but I tried my best using Photoshop to make the logo look similar, if not, the same.
If I was to produce a marketing plan again, I would also create a more detailed and structured plan when it comes to release dates and and timings. That is probably my biggest regret of the unit. Overall, I think I am content with the work produced in this unit and wished I had spent more time on it to produce a more industry standard piece.
